Wonder Girls So Hot, 2DT, 2DT & Nobody Rock Version & Nobody at MTV World Stage
Wonder Girls captivated an audience of some 15,000 at the MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2010 held in Kuala Lumpur on 31st July. They showcased a total of 6 numbers, including "I Wanna", "Goodbye", “Tell Me,” “So Hot,” “2 Different Tears” and their biggest hit “Nobody,” during the 40-minute performance. MTV World Stage was broadcasted via MTV Asia on 21st August. To my disappointment, our girls' EPIC opening was cut out by the MTV crew, leaving us with only their performance of “So Hot”, “2 Different Tears”, “Nobody” and their Rock remixes of “2 Different Tears” and “Nobody”.

Vote for Wonder Girls on BIGLOBE MUSIC, Japan
Vote for Wonder Girls on Japan Website, BIGLOBE MUSIC!! KARA, Girls' Generation, FTIsland, BROWN EYED GIRLS... All of these South Korean units are starting to come to the Japanese music scene. It was a spark no doubt started by Tohoshinki and now many K-pop artists are looking to make a name for themselves in the Japanese market. With Tohoshinki on hiatus, 2010 will definitely be a time when the different Korean groups will be looking to take their spot in Japan. Back in July when we went to Seoul, South Korea, we found out that they really don't have anything like a large scale CD store such as HMV. On top of that, even the main stores had Japanese tourists. Korea is considered a music distribution center, but for them a big hit might sell only 50,000 copies. This is nothing compared to the "buying CD" culture that has taken root in Japan. For the Korean music scene this would obviously seem like a better market.
