Wonder Girls’ Nobody makes a comeback to the Canadian Singles chart!
Back in March of 2010, we wrote about “Nobody” making it to the Canadian Singles Chart by Nielsen SoundScan, as presented by the website jam.canoe.ca.
When it was discovered, “Nobody” had already been on the chart for 4 weeks, with its highest position being the #4 spot. The song continued to be in the chart and to our knowledge it remained there for around 8 weeks.
After “Nobody’s” success, Wonder Girls latest release at the time, “2 Different Tears”, also had a short run in the charts. However, to much surprise of everyone, Korean media has reported that none other than “Nobody” is back once again in the charts at the 4th spot after almost one year since the last time it was seen.
Recently a representative of JYP Entertainment spoke with Star News and said about the girls achievement, “Last year, ‘2 Different Tears‘ did make it into the Canadian charts, but we’re very surprised that ‘Nobody’ has made it in this time as well. It’s been about two years now, so we’re glad that it was achieved without any promotions.”
Now that the release of the girls’ new album is on the horizon, be sure to continue showing your support! Who knows, we might see some of their new songs not only in the Canadian and American charts, but charts from other countries as well.
