Wonder Girls to perform at Jiangsu Satellite TV Year-End Concert in China

Wonder Girls have been officially invited to perform at Jiangsu Satellite TV Year-End Concert with other popular international artist, like Avril Lavigne, and known singers in China.

On December 2nd Jiangsu Satellite TV revealed some of the performers for their upcoming huge year-end concert. They stated that they had “decided to up the standards of this year’s end of the year concert” aiming to create “an international music festival”, therefore they had invited famous starts like Avril Lavigne and Wonder Girls.

They revealed, “The popularity of ‘Nobody’ is so great in China, that all people, from kids to adults, know it. We believe that they will be able to put on a good performance on stage at the concert. Also, learning their unique, yet easy dance has become a fad in China. With that in mind, we are planning on making all the citizens dance along with them during the concert.”

The TV channel has also invited Fish Leong, Elva Hsiao, Christine Fan, Chen ChuSheng, Yoga Lin and other known singers in China together with other foreign artists yet to be revealed, reason why many are anticipating this upcoming concert.

While this confirms Wonder Girls top star status in China, it would also mean they’ll might not be able to attend Korean year-end music festivals if they were to be invited.
