South Korea’s current popular girl group WONDERGIRLS became the first Korean singer to ascend the Billboard singles chart. Some four months into their American launch, during this year’s third week of October, the English version of ‘Nobody’ climbed to #76 in the charts. WONDERGIRLS also became the first Asian singer to reach the ‘Hot 100′ chart since the 1980s era of the last century.
