Sammyboi’s FAN*TASTIC Fan Account‏ in New York

hey guys! i was a FAN*TASTIC last night at Uniondale, NY haha and it was just an awesome experience this promotional team set up by JYP is just so fun haha not only do existing fans get to spend quality with the wg, but they also can help the WG break into the us market (not directly, but helping pass out flyers definitely can help) i remember passing out the flyers, screaming that ppl can meet the girls during the meet&greet, and i kind of felt special/important (LOL) just being part of this amazing beginning chapter for the Wonder Girls~

but before i get into FANTASTICs, let me just say that i actually got accepted to the Wendy Williams show! 7 fantastics from new york got the opportunity to watch her show live.. `i actually couldn’t get any sleep the night before the show.. (combination of bad sleeping patterns, new bed lol, and excitement) so i wound up checking out what the wendy williams building looked like..

the show was actually very fun and entertaining.. wendy definitely appeals to the audience and there were tons and tons of laughter thruout the show i probably won’t watch the show in my free time tho.. haha >< it’s actually pretty crazy being on a talkshow.. they make you practice clapping and shouting haha just a good experience overall ^^ we didn’t get to see the wonder girls till the very end. they came out during the second to last commercial break and the people that knew them cheered lol my eyes were honestly glued onto yeeun just cuz she was just SOO pretty haha xD they got in their positions for their perf.. (facing backwards).. but yoobin actually turned around to face us a few seconds later and started dancing and singing along to the background music LOL so cute to see her following along to the american song^^)

then, the show came back on air and wendy introduced them and then the WG did their song.. haha it went pretty much perfectly as planned but if you watch closely, during the first verse (sunmi), she actually hits her mic with her hand (NOT shown on tv) and the mic is pushed a little upward.. haha it’s hard to notice.. but on the tv version, you can indeed see before and after shots xD also.. during one of the chorus lines later in the song, sunye’s mic was not functioning properly.. so you couldn’t really hear anything but her voice (with no mic) and yeeun’s eyes glance toward sunye for a second or two until the mic started working lol (gosh.. this is long already lol) i expected a slightly longer interview.. the wg basically only mentioned their names and agreed with wendy’s question lol during the last commercial break, wendy talked to the wg and took a group picture as well several fantastics then tried to take pictures as well.. but there were big security guards telling us to stop.. and they did look pretty scary.. haha i think one of them actually approached us of us to tell us to stop after the show ended, everybody was escorted to leave.. and the 7 of us (actually 8 cuz one person brought a friend) waited at that exit.. maybe we could see the wonder girls!^___^ and get autographs and pictures! yay ^^ but no. we waited there for like a good 15 minutes and even called JYP staff to see if we get to meet them personally or anything but they told us that we’d be meeting them at fantastics event anyway.. hah so we just gave up and walked to entrance and maybe we’d get to see the girls leave from there? T_T…. there, some guy working for Wendy Williams was like “YO! who you guys waiting for?” and we said the “wonder girls” then he’s like “you guys are late.. they just left a few minutes ago.. they took pictures and did autographs for the ppl here” i know i was fortunate enough to see the WG there and all.. but hearing that, i got disappointed haha T_T an opportunity.. LOST! eeeek ( i later confirmed with jyp directly that they DID INDEED take pix/autographs outside the entrance ) haha alright.. now onto the fantastics event! (you guys bored yet? haha or is it still interesting?) there was no mention that the WG would do the meet&greet outside the verizon bus.. but i decided to go anyways..^^;; and luckily the girls DID appear outside the bus and teach us the dance haha ( so even if they dont update their twitters with that, they most likely will do it :] ) the wonder girls came out in their pink dresses! they did their usual “hi i’m sun.. hi i’m yenny.. etc” and taught us the dance “take your index finger… and now do the same with the opposite finger!” deal haha they also did that dance contest.. haha each member chose a person in the audience to try out the dance haha i actually rose my hand and wanted to get chosen.. and some jobros fans (girls and a guy) were pointing to me cuz they saw how “passionately” i was dancing.. LOL the closest i got was when yoobin chose a little girl right in front of me ( i later “confronted” yoobin about that.. but she said she couldn’t resist choosing that girl .. i guess cuz she was cute lol x__x ) yeeun chose like a 6 year old girl.. xD she was just scanning the crowd.. and happened to look down and like instantly say “aww!” and reached out for her xD oh yeah.. and ours wasn’t really a “contest”.. everybody “won” and got the opportunity to meet the WG with the fantastics.. but none of them showed up? um. haha they were supposed to leave their numbers with one of the jyp staff.. but i guess they missed the call or something lol

okay.. guys.. when you see the girls during any meet&greet (before or after the concert).. be on the, what i call, JYP LOOKOUT! haha here’s my jyp with the JYP-LO: right after the dance contest, i looked backwards to see if i could spot other fantastics.. and BOOM it was JYP like a foot or two away from me he was just looking at the wg.. and didn’t look at me until i said something like “whatt!” or “woahh!” to him.. we actually had a nice conversation for several minutes. i told him i was one of the ppl at the WW show.. and asked what he was doing during the wonder girls perf there unlike his earlier tweet about crying watch the girls backstage on tv, he actually took over the job of the “sound guy” and managed the sound equipment during the wg perf haha the actual guy didn’t know stuff like who’s singing and when she’s singing and stuff like that jyp brought up the word “multitasking” when talking about managing the sound equipment haha this is when i asked him if he and the wg took autographs/pictures at the end of the WW show and he confirmed it.. he then said.. “wait weren’t you guy that twittered me about that?” and i was like “wow.. yeah!” haha but the thing is.. he never twittered back.. so i thought he skipped it.. but i’m guessing he DOES read all his twitters haha so cool (: after the wg and jyp left, we were given the promotional cards to hand out before the concert and that went pretty well. most ppl take them.. haha but almost all the little kiddies take them if you flash it right in front of them ^^; i didn’t have any tickets to the show.. and most fantastics didn’t.. so we ended up going to Chiptole and eating dinner.. haha xD but anyways.. back to the WG.. around 9pm, we were told to wait in a certain section outside.. and then In Na came and picked us up and took us inside we were taken to some basement place (which looked kinda sketchy.. were we gonna be taken as labor slaves O_O!) haha so we waited there for a good 20 minutes or so.. but during that, we found out Jordan Sparks was there as well taking pictures with fans! i think those fans had special vip tickets to take pictures or something.. but after they were done, jordan let us take pictures with her xDD she was so pretty and very friendly.. haha we brought up the video of her and wg on youtube dancing to Nobody. haha and jordan did the dance moves for us too hehe i was so nervous during that entire time tho.. just very much anticipating the girls coming at any second and then from a distance.. i see the girls walking in and i shout “the wonder girls!” haha.. my dream was coming true in a few seconds!!!! =) so yeah.. what happened first was that we got in a line and took pictures with the girls..

everyone was pretty jittery cuz the wg were so close to us and ahhhhhhh! haha then we all went around and took pictures, got autographs, talked to the wonder girls i didn’t have too many things signed.. got a picture with all 5 signatures, a sohee picture for a friend, and a yoobin one for another friend but i actually did manage to talk to them a lot xD

here’s a recap of several convos ( i mainly asked them questions so we could flow into it easier? haha ^^ ) (i can’t remember word for word.. but my memory should be more than good enough^^) me: sunye.. what did you guys do during the entire WW show? you guys were the final part of the show~~ sunye: um.. we were sat around.. and talked.. to each other and jyp! haha me: sohee.. were you nervous before the Wendy Williams show? i mean.. you performed Nobody, a song you guys have done so many times! sohee: umm.. a little bit^^ *makes a “little bit” gesture” with the index finger and thumb* *giggles* <– cute lol me: haha ohh xD me: sunmi.. do you like long or short hair? sunmi: i like both ( i can’t remember any more than that LOl omgg she’s my favorite member too ugh!) me: yeeun.. i’ve noticed your english is.. yeeun: very bad? *laughs* me: NO! haha yours is very good.. how did you manage to get so good? what do you do to help your english skills? yeeun: i watch a lot of things english-related. especially tv shows.. i watch Lost me: ohh lol did you know a lot of english while in korea before coming here? yeeun: umm i only studied for about a month ^^ ( is that true? she only studied for a month? or maybe we had misunderstandings between each other lol uhh) me and yoobin’s conversation were about her choosing the little girl in front of me during the dancing contest! haha yoobin is so pretty.. sdkfjdl >< thus, i look pretty weird in the photo trying to stand still.. T_T
